Pertachem Spreads Joy During Ramadan Through Donations
Ramadan is a special time to strengthen togetherness and share with others. As part of its social responsibility and corporate commitment, Pertachem organized the 1445 H Ramadan Donation Program on Friday (22/03/2024) by providing aid to three orphanages in Jakarta, Bogor, and Depok, as well as to Warehouse Loading and Unloading Workers.
Panti Asuhan Muslimin Putra Mulia - Located in Jakarta, this orphanage provides shelter and education for orphaned children. In addition to offering dormitory facilities and home-schooling, it actively supports children's education costs from elementary school to university level.
Panti Asuhan Putri dan Balita Darushsholihat - In Bogor, Pertachem helped Panti Asuhan Putri dan Balita Darushsholihat, which currently houses 40 girls, including two infants aged 19 days and 6 months. Besides offering a safe residence, the orphanage ensures that the children receive proper access to education.
Panti Asuhan Asuwain Timor - Located in Depok, this orphanage was initially established to provide shelter for children from Timor in need. Today, Panti Asuhan Asuwain Timor houses six orphans and 51 underprivileged and convert children, ranging in age from elementary school to university level.
This donation initiative is part of Pertachem’s commitment to implementing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to create a positive impact on society. In addition to supporting orphanages, Pertachem also shows appreciation for the Warehouse Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) who play a crucial role in ensuring smooth distribution operations across Pertachem Warehouses in Jakarta and West Java.
The assistance provided serves as a token of gratitude for their hard work and dedication in maintaining an efficient distribution process. Through this initiative, Pertachem hopes to bring real benefits to children in orphanages and workers contributing to the distribution chain.
