Pertamina Petrochemical Trading Rises to Top 14 Petrochemical Distributors in Asia-Pacific

PT Pertamina Petrochemical Trading (Pertachem), a subsidiary of Subholding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero), has successfully risen to the 14th position among petrochemical distributors in the Asia-Pacific region. This ranking was released by Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS) in the Top 100 Chemical Distributor 2024 report. This achievement marks an improvement of four positions from its previous ranking of 18th in 2023.

This accomplishment serves as proof of Pertachem's commitment to managing and expanding the petrochemical business on both national and regional scales. The 14th position was attained due to the expansion of the company’s product portfolio, which includes Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Propylene, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Polystyrene, Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, Benzene, Paraxylene, Ortho-xylene, Decant Oil, Black Masterbatch, and Light Naphtha, with total revenue reaching USD 829 million.

This achievement is even more special as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of Pertachem. As a form of appreciation, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and key stakeholders honored Pertachem during a thanksgiving event held on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
